FROM THE EAST
Hoping that all of you and your families are having a fantastic holiday season. Thanksgiving is now past, and I know I have a LOT to be thankful for. If I started to list the items I am thankful for here you would be reading until next year.
November also means Election of Officers. I am humbled by the fact that the brothers of our lodge have elected me to serve another year as Master. I suppose they are hoping that I can get it right if I try again. I am also very thankful that Worshipful Brother Robert Shannon, PM has been elected to serve as Senior Warden again this year. His knowledge and hard work have been so important to me and the lodge for a long time.
Next up is Christmas! In celebration of this wonderful holiday we will be having prime-rib dinner for just the usual price of $5. We will need to know if you are planning to be there for the dinner or there may not be enough food for all. Please email or call me if you are going to come and how many will be in your party. 209-985-8975 firstname.lastname@example.org A great big thank you to the Blodgetts for always preparing a great meal.
I am excited to get into a new year. I know it will be a challenging one and I am confident that we are all up to the challenge.
God Bless you and yours this Christmas.
Michael W. Faircloth II, WM
